HELP! Reasons for timing jump
I'm in the process of getting my A4 2.0t back on the road after catastrophic damage to the valves. Problem is, I never knew or could figure out why the timing jumped in the first place. The belt wasn't worn, tensioner didn't fail because the belt was very snug, cam follower was in great shape. What could be the reasoning for the timing jump?
