HID Kit Substitute(Glare), Anything Good for Halogen Replacement?
As title says, I don't have the Factory Xenons, and I am really tired of the color of the halogens...
Is there any brand or certain bulbs that I can purchase to replace these?? thnx |

Re: 2nd
Thanks for the responses everyone... I will go ahead and take a look into those silverstar ultras tonight...
Also for the people that changed their halogens, did you upgrade your fogs? If so to what? :) |
fogs
i would say hoen if you had xenon
check out silverstar ultra for your fogs too. temp. rating (kelvin) will match ... should look good. |
Re: fogs
I cant find those..
So I am thinking of purchasing hoens for the high and low beams. and hoens for the fogs also. they will all be the xenonmatch version. Any opinions? Also I will be changing the DRLs with silver crhome bulbs from autolumination.:) |
Re: fogs
good call going hoen all around.
be careful on the DRLs... autoilluminations (as do most aftermarket) run hot, so i wouldn't have DRLs on all times. i would grab an extra pair too. i've gone through a set this winter. since you're doing a switch over, take a look at hoen's license plate and city light bulbs. rounds out the look. good luck |
