How do they fit? is there enough room back there? I have 2 forward facing car seats I need to put in the back, I am 6'2 and so am likely to have the seat all the way back. Is there going to be enough room? Or should I look at an A6?

In fact, right now I have 1 forward facing and 1 rear facing. The rear facing is the real problem. Thank goodness my wife is only 5'2", because even she eats the dashboard in the front passenger seat.

I'm 6'2" and I have the forward facing seat behind the drivers seat and I have no problems driving at all...and I would say that my daughter has enough room. I do have to remind her at times not to kick my seat though.

I'm about 6 weeks from moving the 2nd seat to be forward facing and my wife and I both can't wait.

I think you'll be fine, but yet I wanted a manual transmission so an A6 was out of the question.

The A6 won't handle as well as the A4 in my opinion.

I have no problems putting two in the back, in the outboard positions. Generally they're both forward-facing, but if I put my youngest back there (rear-facing), the front seat has to be up pretty far. I've never been able to get all three kids back there at once though, even when trying to use two booster seats (even backless!)

have another child, we will most likely end up looking for a 7 seat vehicle.

I think I need to line up some test drives, A6, A4 Avant, Subaru Legacy GT wagon.

They both fit fine although, my two year old is to the point where he regularly kicks the back of my seat. I'm also 6'2".
