I don't understand S-Line.....
Okay, I live in a snow belt state. So, i'd want all-season tires + wheels all around during those months. But, 9 of those months in the year i'd love performance tires...So to purchase s-line you are force to buy premium package which includes 17 all-season tires with the package...but, then you select S-Line and that negates the 17 all-season tires?? Shouldn't you get both sets? Your paying for the full option in the premium package? right? Makes sense to me, maybe not others..

Re: I don't understand S-Line.....
The price of the s-line package assumes the reduction of the tires from the premium package. if you got both sets of tires the s-line package would be more expensive.
The tires are why I backed out of getting s-line, I couldn't be bothered going out and putting all new all-seasons on my brand new car.

Yeah you can buy all-seasons that fit. my dealer even said they would put them on for me if I had them shipped to the dealership. There was even some talk of some credit for the unused summer tires.
It was still too much hassle for me.

Uh, I think the S-line package for 2007 now lets you pick either all seasons or summers now
No it doesn't work that way. You still only buy one set of tires, not both.
Frankly, all seasons suck in winter, especially if you live in the snow belt. I'd just get the summers, burn them off, get better ones, and keep a set of extra rims for winter use.
I had the Conti all seasons and frankly I was not impressed with the braking on it. Actually I'm not happy with any all seasons anymore on snow. All seasons are a comprimise, even driving schools nowadays recommend that all seasons are fine for summer use but one should invest in a set of winter tires for winter use. Anyways I'll get off my soapbox.

No, i'd like to switch to the winters in Late October/November...then switch back to performance in March/April
