i want to kick the engineer who made the support that holds the battery down, my battery died and ha
d put in a new one and did it myself thinking it would be easy but the screw down battery holder that keeps it in place is a real bitch to get at. there's a metal support bar that runs right over it making it extremely hard to get easy access to the screw that holds the battery down.
that's it just wanted to vent and heads up for others to make sure you have a really long extension to get at the bolt and some patience.

right tools and manual ;-) I'm sure they didn't design it this way just to spite us. Try changing
a headlight bulb in the TT. Both wheels have to come off, so does the liner, then the bumper, then the headlight. Takes about an hour for the whole procedure after you get to know the car. Unfortunately some things during the design stage are compromises. This is one of them.
