Default icelink plus and navplus (RNS)?

Has anyone hooked up their icelink in place of the 6 disk changer in the glove box? If so, what cables did you use? Thanks!

I bought this ice-link plus, I have a 2006 with NAVPLUS. You lose the use of the cd changer but it hook in the glovebox it took two minutes to install and its worked for me with out issue. Give Christian at EnfigCarStereo.com a call.

ice link plus

Default Just installed the icelink today..

I had it installed, that is. I had it installed using the port for the cd changer, but I had a switch installed under the dash to toggle between the changer and the iPod. I got to keep satellite radio this way, but I can't control the iPod through the stereo as a result. Not a problem for me, and the iPod is mounted right next to the head unit. Very clean, but while my car had no issues, the installers were having a tough time doing the same install on a C-class Mercedes - just couldn't get any sound going..

Default Myles, what type of mount are you using?

I know, I know, I probably could have phrased that better...anyway how did you mount your iPod beside the head unit?

Default Pretty sure Denison makes it..

It's a metal bracket, thin enough to slide between the nav+ unit and the center console on the passenger side, designed to accept the icelink. I'll take pics when I have time..

I just left town on vacation, so I'm nowhere near the car, but to break it down..
Denison icelink, with a ProFit bracket, connected with a relay switch and toggle switch, running out of the cd changer input from the back of the nav+ unit. The installer was Al & Ed's Autosounds, on La Cienega and Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood.
I don't get back in town until after the new year, but I promise to to take pics and write full instructions..
