Default Interior squeeks, anyone?

Notice it around the rear seats when hiting bumps, not loud but annoying when music is at low volume.

Also with the freakin armrest, everytime I rest my arm on it, it makes this "tick" sound....geez
the car is 2 weeks old, and H&R coilovers are on its way, can't imagine how bad it would be...

Default Dash, rear window frames for me

The only Audi I've owned that didn't squeak was my first B5 S4 - and maybe that only because I had it only for 5 months. My 2nd B5 S4 drove me completely bonkers with rattles. I consider the current car as baby training - calm down, it's ok, it makes noise, ah, don't think about it. There's a high pitched squeal from behind the Nav screen, and the right rear window frame rattles sometimes, not just on rough pavement.

Unlike with earlier cars, I no longer bring the car to the dealer just for squeaks - again, part of patience building experience.

Default The weather just started getting chillier here...

And today was the first day I had driven my car since Friday. I noticed a few rattles and squeaks today that I hadn't heard before...I chalked it up to the chillier weather.

Default Yeah, believe it's the rubber sealings around the doors, sunroof, etc.

I read all this stuff about Audi putting in a lot of resources to ensure that their cars are quiet and running them in various tests... I wonder sometimes. Friend's one year old 3 series ... rock solid and quiet.

Default Easy fix

Remove all the interior pieces from the car behind the front seats. The road noise will be loud enough you won't be able to hear any squeaks or other noises... <grin>

Default yeah, in the winter time, I notice some squeaks that weren't there before but gone

after the cold weather season passes. Normal I guess.

Default No dash squeaks here, but in our Avant occasionally

I hear some squeaks from the rear seat/cargo screen assembly. Usually a good firm push to make sure its seated all the way makes it go away.
