Just got new A4 with technology pkg-where is the phone cradle?

Just got new A4 with technology pkg-where is the phone cradle?
The manual says it is under the armrest but all I see are contacts. Does the phone cradle come with the car or is it phone specific and I have to buy it separately.

I am a real noobie regarding bluetooth and have a non blue tooth phone per audi's list of BT compatible phones. The manual leads you to believe that the cradle is part of the BT set up. Therefore is the choice for me to either use my phone and get a cradle or get a BT compatible phone?

Most BT phone should be ok.
The "official list" doesn't have many of the newer phones, but I haven't heard anyone complaining about incompatibility, at least not yet.

Motorola v265. Should the cradle be included with the purchase of the technolgy pkg?

No. Cradle is not mentioned anywhere in the tech pkg description.
As far as functionalities goes, a cradle is a glorified cigarette-plug phone charger anyways.
