Default Key fob

Thing fell in the wash, got it out, dried it out, buttons seems to work fine (and now the key flips out even faster LOL). Followed the instructions to match the key to the car (unlock, put in ignition, turn to on position but not to the 3rd position to start, turn off, pull key out, and hit either the lock or unlock to complete the process) but it still doesn't work.

Am I missing something or is it screwed? I doubt it's screwed as everything appears to work fine, just can't reprogram it.

Is the LED blinking? If not try a fresh battery.
