Default Labree full exhaust for B7 A4 3.2 FSI V6

Like we 3.2 FSI V6 owners know, there are no aftermarket exhaust systems available for us. I checked Thermal, Milltek, MTM and APR websites and none of these places have B7 A4 3.2 FSI V6 exhaust listed.

I talked with Brent from Labree Motorsports today and he said they would be willing to make one if there's enough interest out there. If anyone has seen or heard their B6/B7 S4 full exhaust, you know what kind of product we are talking about. The sound and the performance is simply amazing. They just finished their setup for one of our AZ members car, robots_are_neon. Check out http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=93863 for more details.

Exhaust would be available with or without downpipes (for both manual and tip).

In the 4.2 V8 platform full exhaust brings ~30whp power gain (which is about 12% power increase) not to mention the amazing sound. According to Brent@Labree the power gain in 3.2 FSI V6 platform would be equivalent in percentage perspective (i.e. ~20whp).

I would be really eager to get this setup to my car, so let's hope we get enough interest (I'm X-posting this also in AZ).

Here are some pics of the Labree B6 S4 exhaust. Our setup should look pretty much the same. [up]

If you can get a dyno prove on the 20whp gain with just an exhaust for the 3.2 fsi engine, i'm in. Is it full exhaust or just a cat-back exhaust to make such a big gain?

That's gain with downpipes and cat-back. Milltek advertises that the gain between downpipes and cat-back are about 50/50, but Labree has find out that most of the power is made with downpipes. Labree actually says (don't quote me on this) that they have seen 35whp gain in B6/B7 S4 with full exhaust and K&D Drop-In filter. The stock exaust systems in 3.2 and 4.2 are almost identical so I don't see any reason why we couldn't get comparable gains from our engines. In B5 S4 platform (although it's forced induction) the full exhaust (downpipes + cat-back) makes a HUGE difference on 2.7 V6.

Obviously no dyno plots are available at this moment since the exhaust for 3.2 doesn't exist yet. You can of course wait 'til someone does the initial dyno run when the product is available but since we know that the 3.2 market ain't "that big", it doesn't make any sense for the company to spend a lot of money for the development unless there're potential customers. If we could get 10 people, it's a green flag for the development.

Default Very nice

I would be very interested in "the whole enchilada" (i.e. with downpipe and for tip). How do I get on the list? Any guesstimate on pricing?

I have to double check the pricing with Labree but their B6 S4 full exhaust is about $2400 ($1000 cb, 1400 dps) so you'll get the ball park for the pricing. I'll let you know.
