Lease on '08 special edition????
I'm planning on leasing a an '08 special edition quattro (only add ons are blue tooth and ipod hook-up). The dealer is offering $360 per month(includes sales tax), waived disposition fee ($350) and Audi Care for all three years. No down payment, of course.
Is this a good deal or should I try to negotiate a lower monthly payment??

sounds like a fair deal to me
I have found that negotiating leases is a mysterious business. Pleaole talk about money factors and such, but Audi's paperwork makes it impossible to know what the hells going on. from now on I will only figure out what I want to pay for the car, divide by the residual and calculate payments. everything else is fees and interest.
I wish someone who works for a dealer could tell us how to read those awful leases.

Yes, can someone please enlighten us?....
I too am thinking I might lease with option to buy just for the lower payments and perhaps this will allow me to go new vs. used.
Also, what are the requirements/restrictions/term of the 0.9% financing deal?
Thanks

Lease is for 36 months but Audi pays first month (so 35 payments)
36 month lease, no money down, waived disposition, audi care for 3 years, standard 10,000 mile/yr, taxes included

I need to know more about this. My car
is a 2005.5 that is due for a balloon payment in July at about $19,500. I have 30K miles on it and the purchase is at 4.6% for 39 months, or about $540/mo. My car is loaded for 2005.5 with Sport pkg, winter pkg., leather, tip, etc. Has a retail of about 24K. I'd rather get new at a lower monthly nut, though. Can you share any details of who your dealer is?

Try a dealer with lots of inventory...
I would rather not say who the dealer is but they are located in Chicago. They have alot of inventory, so they may be motivated to get rid of the 08 before 09 is delivered in September.
The initial offer was essentially the same as what is advertised on audi's website (summer event), but they were more than willing to negotiate.
The 08 SE is well equipped, but you would give up sport suspension.
Also, at the time, another customer was purchasing 08 Avant and they were not nearly as friendly with pricing. They want to move the sedans.

AudiWorld Expert
that is a base base car.
Check on the AoA website..if that is a promotion they got going..that is probably the lowest you are gonna get on that. Sounds worthwhile to me though.
