I want to change the Bulbs on the headlights with something brighter. i saw on one of the posts that someone used 6000W bulbs. Where can I find these or what can someone recommend in place of the original bulbs. I want that crisp, white light.

Did you manage to track some down after? How hard was it to put in the new bulbs, is it a big procedure with the A4? I have one arriving this Friday and hope to make the same change soon.

I havent ordered any bulbs yet and dont think I will. i dont feel like going through the trouble of taking out the old ones and putting the new ones in.. I dont have the time to start taking light assembles apart and remove just to replace a bulb. I hit a deer once and had body work once to the front end of my car (new grille and headlights) and watched as the Tech tried to remove, reinstall and re-align the headlights with the bumper and quarter panels and I can tell you that it was a bitch.

So unless anyone has any easier way of replacing them, then the originals will have to stay.
