Default Looking for rear facing car seat that will fit (middle mount is not an option)

My britax marathon won't fit in rear facing configuration and I have a booster seat off on one side for my toddler. With the booster seat there, a middle mounted britax will not fit.

Anyone know of anything that fits rear-facing?

Default You must be tall. I had the Marathon rear facing in my Avant. If your toddler isn't too tall, how..

about the Marathon Roundabout?

BTW- do you take your child to the Mulberry where we bumped into each other last winter? (I was in the black Q7)

Default Re: Looking for rear facing car seat that will fit (middle mount is not an option)

We put a Britax Boulevard - which is apparently very similar to the Marathon - rear-facing in my A4 Avant on the passenger side. It was a very clean and tight install, though I was using LATCH since it was for our youngest. There is a slight trick to getting the tether anchored though; I had to move the front passenger seat quite far forward to get the tether loop to fit through the very narrow space under the seat rail.

Default Recently I haven't been back there since I changed jobs to the Melrose area, so my wife

ends up taking my kids in to daycare, in my modded IS300.

Thx for the info.. I'll have to give the roundabout a try.. not sure why the marathon isnt fitting rearsitting... I'll investigate.

Default I don't know, but how is the seat not fitting?

Is it physically bumping into something, or do you just not get a tight install?

My wife is the Car Seat Sorceress Supreme and I'm just the acolyte; if you could describe the specific problem you're having, I'll pass it along and post her comments.
