....why the 1998 interface? With all the great Forum software out and the popularity of this site why hasn't it been updated?

Just because it's not what you are used to doesn't mean it's not good. Obviously with three WHOLE posts you have really taken the time to learn it, but some of us are fond of it anyway.

Default The B7 forum isn't so bad and it has a LOT more traffic than here. I'm not sure why though...
There are quite a few great members on the B7 forum and they have a very nice FAQ for noobs. There are some annoying younger members, but everyone was young once...
