Finally. Late August order. My dealer is 100 miles away, but drove the car up for me and drove my A6 (end of lease) back. I haven't had time to drive it more than a few miles yet, but it looks like it's well put together and will be a worthy successor to my A6 2.7T.
Quartz, ebony interior, Premium, Sunroof, Technology, Sirius/Bose.

How much smaller (vs. old A6) is it inside?
Especially the rear seat room? Is there a big difference? I'm hoping not.
I had an S6 Avant (great rear seat leg room), now have an E55 Wagon (mediocre rear seat room), and have ordered an A4 Avant.
I'm curious as to your impressions.

It is smaller in the back.
Front seat legroom and headroom are fantastic. I'm 6'3" and have more room in the front than I did with my A6. Unfortunately that room does come at the expense of rear seat legroom. I don't have to keep my front seat all the way back but, even so, no adult could fit behind me. If I do move the seat forward a bit though, I can still drive comfortably and have enough room behind me for an average sized adult. Luckily my wife is only 5'2", so there's plenty of room behind her.
The only other odd thing I've noticed about the interior layout is the placement of the arm rests on the doors. Because the doors are not as wide as the A6, I find the arm rest unusable with my seat positioned back. I'm actually sitting behind the door post, so I simply run out of door.
All else, so far, has been very impressive. Comfortable seats, excellent driving position, and little road and/or wind noise. I'll put some more miles on this weekend and have more comments as I get to know the car better.

weird....
So my car should here too, right?
Well, I ordered a 3.2Q 6 speed sedan, which is still kinda rare in the States. Do you guys think that might make it take longer?
I wouldn't think so...
Where's my freakin car??? =)
