my drivers window started malfunctioning, anyone else having problems w/ windows not rolling up..?

it will roll down but makes some creeking sounds. it takes plenty of messing with it to get it to rolled back up, 'cause there's resistence when it goes back up then the auto roll down of the window kicks in.

oh well, i've got an oil change in a week or two, i'll get it fixed then.

A friend of mine already had one regulator replaced on his A4.

I believe the dealer had one in stock and replaced it within an hour.

i had my drivers side do the same thing about 2 weeks ago

took it to the dealer and got it replaced under warranty, no problems.

same problem and i get...

the same thing with the one-touches...i guess the fix would be go complain to the dealer...

hey, my car has 54.5k miles (not under warranty) and the same problem just occurred to me today!! what do i do??? this is a known defect with volkswagen! how about Audi? i am going to take it to a dealer tomorrow..... can this be covered at all?
