the handling is great, i believe they dampened the shocks a bit in favor of a more comfortable ride, is this true?

also, has anyone noticed any extra acceleration when the foot comes right off the gas? i've noticed it twice already, if i let off the gas, the car still feels like it's not done accelerating....strange.

also, what kind of tires did ya'll get? they put goodyears on mine...

Well, except for the tech package... mine has the Rusnak plates, too. =)

Mine came with Pirelli P6s.

Yes - the "extra acceleration" as you call it is a bit scary at times. The car is quick enough to respond to a mash of the pedal, but not quite so fast to respond to removing your foot. It's really pretty weird. I've hit the brake a few times when this happened and it certainly brings things into control, but it's a very strange sensation. Is this normal? A result of a less than stellar drive-by-wire implementation, perhaps?

I've got goodyear ls2's on mine. After driving in the first major snowstorm of the year, I was less than impressed. Doing 20mph or so on packed snow I could feel the back end fishtail and I'd have to let off the gas. As I see civics and camrys flying by at 30mph lol. If you don't live in a snowy climate then the goodyears are more than capable.
