Default Nav a must?
I was wondering what else the stock navigation can control besides map navigation.

Well it has 2 SD Card slots so you can run MP3s without CD's or hardwiring an iPod

Default If factory installed you get the CD changer for free
If you plan to retrofit later you will pay almost as much for the unit and adpaters only. I would storngly recommend to get it with a new car if you ever consider using a navigation unit or like having music on SD cards. Plus, phone integration is much better if you have the navigation plus and Audi BT phone kit.

Default best nav I have used, have 1 in Mercedes and 1 Pioneer AVIC-n1
other car and this is by far the best

Default the RNS-E is a great platform for adding other items like:
- ipod interface
- factory BT module
- Audi/Video input
- XM/SAT tuner display is better than Sym II

etc...etc..
