Need confirmation, ordering coilovers tomorrow.
Been searching but still not cleared with the coilover issue for the B7. Can we use regular B6 C/O? Is it true that we need to use a heavier spring rate since our cars are heavier, similar to B6 S4?
I also see on some websites, applications for B6 & B7 C/O part numbers are the same.
Does diffrent C/Os have diffrent lowering specs? I need to slam mine. Which set should i go for so I can go low low (no finger gap with fender at all)? Will Stasis street sport do the job?
Pls advice~ Thanks!

Re: Need confirmation, ordering coilovers tomorrow.
I've been pouring over this question for a couple months now and can't seem to get a straight answer.
I've spoken with numerous manufacturers and people on this forum...some say that the B6-designed coilovers will fit on our cars, others say that while they may fit they should not be used because they have not been designed specifically for the B7.
I've been told that KW is currently devloping coilovers for the B7, and I'm sure other companies like Bilstein will follow.
All guys running coilovers on this forum are using Stasis SS and TS and seem too like them very much...I would be interested to see the diff between the B6 and B7 Stasis apps tho.

B6 will work
The shock applications are the same. Coilover spring rates will almost always be higher than the factory springs for both the B6 and B7 stock rates.
So while a B6 kit might not be designed around the B7 chassis, the rates will still be higher than stock, and thus a good improvement over stock.
We've sold a number of both KONI and Vogtland coilover kits to B7 owners without any issues. All have been quite happy with the results.

interesting find on the APR/Stasis site...
the Tracksports for the B6 and B7 have identical part numbers. so i guess this means Stasis is selling the exact coilovers for the two cars...guess the B6 coilovers will work...
