Default need help real bad - APR HPFP

i'm trying to get my fuel pump switched from stock to the APR HPFP and my local APR guy was installing it for me and ended up stripping the banjo bolt that was attached to one of the fuel lines. they were having trouble getting the APR pump to get bolted on correctly and it was spraying fuel when you would try to crank. they tried everything and now the bolt is stripped and we can't even get the **** pump out. what suggestions would you guys have for getting the **** banjo bolt thats stripped out??

Drill it out, open hole, and retap it with a larger thread and use a slightly larger bolt. Forinstance, if its an M5 bolt drill it out and go up to an M6 bolt.

Worst case you can pull the intake manifold. The fuel lines and pump will then all come out as one piece. It's honestly MUCH easier to change out the fuel pump then, since you can get directly on that banjo bolt.

ALso, make sure they're using the proper triple square tool on it.

i'm just kind of upset that this guy who's doing this for me is APR's authorized dealer in my area... you would think he would have known better not to strip a bolt.. kind of a newbie mistake IMO

There isn't a mechanic alive that hasn't, at least once, stripped a bolt. It happens.

The installer is held responsible for it though.
