Ocean Blue A4 2.0T S-Line
 

After a 12 week wait... finally got delivery of my new 2006 A4 2.0T S-Line.

Haven't seen many Ocean Blue S-Lines on the forum so I figured I would post some pics.

Can't wait until summer so that I can see what it looks like with the 18" rims!

were those wheels an option for winter or did they come with the car?

I was going to get a ocean blue but i changed my mind at the last minute and got a moro blue...
but ocean blue is a great color!

I just bought those wheels from the dealer to be used as winter tires. They are 16" Dunlop M3 with some standard Audi rim. As you can see we are still getting snow up here at this time of year.

The S-Line came with Michelin Pilots on the standard S-Line 18" rims.

I was a bit scared about the color since I never saw an Ocean Blue until I got it. I am very happy with the color now!

More blue was a close 2nd... but figured I would take a risk and try something that I haven't seen many others with.

The wheel should be back to normal in a couple month :)

Congrads, that colour looks great.

That neighbourhood look awfully "Canadian'ish"....

I saw a couple of them when I had my 5k service done during X-mas
 

At the dealership sitting in the lot. I was looking at them and thinking to myself I wish I got the ocean blue A4 instead. But when I got my A4 in Sept, there weren't any available back then. Also all of the ocean blue A4's I've seen in So Cal don't seem to have the technology package (no HIDs) so that was a real turnoff for me. Looks like yours does. Looks good and congrats.

i'm loving that color, kinda makes me wish i waited for one.

those were the stock rims on my b6 :)

I got Dunlops with my S-Line wheels. Where are you north of Toronto? I'm in Maple.

Mine too. I still use them as winter wheels since the tires are All-Seasons.
 

and my 17s have Dunlop High Performance rubber that is pretty much worthless in MA from December through April 1.

i tried to sell mine to someone who wanted them as winter wheels....
 

he flaked on me... and ive been stuck with them ever since, i think im gonna make a table out of them

lol... Betcha it's a tough market to sell winter wheels in FL and there are so many peeps in the
 

snow belt that have "winter wheels" for sales that in general there isn't that much of a need to look beyond locals looking to sell.

But hey when ever you decide to demod your car you'll have the 16's to throw back on and you can keep the 18s for your next car or sell them to someone looking for a nice 18" wheel.

Doesn't B7 come with B6 S4 brakes? If so, how do the 16" clear the calipers....I'm confused.

well the person was up north and i was going to ship them... actually had them sold twice, but both times the buyer flaked out...

now like you said... i can keep them and put them back on the car when i go to sell it and/or make a table out of them

The car looks a little higher than mine.

Maybe you have one of the 10mm lower S lines instead of 20mm?

I hear it was changed recently.

I was thinking the same thing when I picked it up.

Still not sure why they would make that change mid-year unless they had somesort of issues with dropping it 20 mm... not sure what that could have been though.

Probably some panty-waste customers were complaining that 20mm was too low or "too bouncy" for grandma and her groceries, hehehe
