Orange Reflectors

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/89231/a.jpg"></center><p>does anyone know how to paint over these reflectors, and how much it would cost?

a4fever 03-01-2006 01:35 PM

i dunno, but that's a darn good looking car

plug1 03-01-2006 01:53 PM

the lower ones?

Just go to a hobby store and pick up some model car tint spray. Pop the covers out and put a couple coats on them. The paint is about $6 for a small can.

Are you trying to paint over them or tint them

If you want to tint them then yes go to the hobby store they sell spray tint for doing stuff like RC car windows.

If you want to paint them seeing as you have black, just hit up any parts store and get uni black paint.. the matching primer and clearcoat. Brilliant black from audi is straight up black.. meaning uni-black touch up paint (uni being universal) is a perfect match.

Sand them down to remove the writing on them and scuff up the surface should do this if you want to tint them also.

Do a few light coats of primer.. few light coats of the color and a few light coats of the clear.

For any other color you can order the spray cans right at the dealer.

ECS Tuning will have smoked ones pretty soon.

Cool, then it'll be like a newer porsche

BTW, does it require you to remove the bumper to get those side reflectors out? Or can you just unbolt/unscrew the splash guard in the wheel well and just reach in there and pop them out?
