phantom black front plate
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/89231/012__scaled_600.jpg"></center><p>my dealer is going to swap out the regular front filler panel to the phantom black quattro 25 one for me, but i have a brilliant black car. does anyone know how different, if at all these two colors are? anyone actaully have the phantom black filler?

Does anybody have the part number or price for that piece?
don't mean to thread-jack but I'm kind of interested in possibly picking one up.
To answer your question above, I think it only fits the S-line front bumpers and it should be a glossy black.

i'll give it to you tomorrow, when i go to the dealership
are you sure it will only fit the s-line? i didn't even know to s-line was a different grill.
they are letting me exchange the old one i bought from them a few months ago that i paid about $100 for, and only charging me $20 for shipping since there are none in the states, and must be shipped from germany.

Won't fit an s-line
I really, really want that grill, but it wont fit an S-line A4
The special edition S4 grill is the same size as a NON-s line A4 grill. (It's a smaller grill than the rest of the S4's)
The A4 s line has a larger grill than the anniversary edition S4, but the same size as a regular S4 (weird, eh?).
Now, if a gloss black grill comes up that will fit an S line A4 or regular S4, I'm all over it!

This may seem backasswards, but the air holes in the bottom of the dam n the 25 anniv car are larger, so they went with a smaller grill to allow for this.
That black grill will only bolt onto a 25th anniv s4 or a A4 NON-sline
