Playing Music without wasting Gas

how do i let my 2009 audi a4 not waste gas when im playing songs thru the 12v port?

What device are you using to play the songs and how does it interact with the radio speakers?
Guessing you are talking about the 12V ports that used to have a cigarette lighter. On my B7 (MY2008 as I'm in North America), that port is live even when the ignition is turned off. My radio also works without the ignition being on - you just have to turn it on manually - try that with yours.
