So, prior to all these problems i had a broken timing belt/destroyed engine. The shop i took it to rebuilt the engine and ive had nothing but problems since then. The biggest culprit being a cylinder 3 misfire. Along with camshaft position slow response, and system to lean. One other code went away after replacing the vvt solenoid and the cam position sensor. A pcv valve also got it running smother. A compression test was done. Still working with the shop since about February.. what else is there to do?

Sorry if there are a few posts, ill delete them when j can.. idk when or if admin was going to approve my other post so i just commented

Thanks in advance guys

Two long shots:
check continuity/voltage on the wiring to the camshaft position sensor.
Maybe worth trying a known good coil pack on cylinder 3
Like i said, long shots.

Google "Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N205)" check images, not the same as the position sensor)

Perhaps the oil rings on the camshaft adjuster are broken or the camshaft adjuster (large round drum on end of camshaft) is damaged/not adjusting.
Maybe you get lucky and the camshaft adjustment valve just needs replaced.

Any which way I'd say the fault lies around the cam chain/solenoid/adjuster area somewhere.

I'm not an expert by any means and this is a big one so I digress.
Perhaps they got the cam chain off by one link or the new belt off by one tooth, it's easily done apparently.

Sorry you aren't getting the help you need, can't even imagine the costs involved for this work.

The misfire and lean could be due solely to the timing being out.

My money is on the chain or belt being off by one tooth or the adjustment valve being shot.
