Default POLL: LED daytime running lights or not...

I personally like the LED look but the damn bulbs give off warning lights in the display saying the left and right lights are out....Anyone know how to bypass this warning? I saw somebody do a circuit board setup for custom city lights on an older A4.

Default I like the LED ...

... but not being able to fix the warning would be a non-starter for me. Let us know if you figure it out.

Default Resistor

You need to put a resistor between plus and minus cables on the led.

Look in the RS4 forum on www.tyresmoke.net - we fixed the bulb warning problem months ago...

Default dont do it ...

you will end up replacing bulbs. the 'cool' LED look is not worth the hassle.

220 ohm 5W NTE resistor for your cityLED conversion

Trying to understand the ohm rec's 10ohm 25w on the 1156 bulb and 220ohm 5w on the 194 bulb?

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4b7/msgs/69925.phtml</a

Same here. I choose to run OEM city light bulbs. Yes I know they burnt out every 6 months.
