Poll: Mileage, what are you getting? Please list engine/% city-highway driving/tranny/mileage

What was the question, again?
I lost my train of thought, given your sig.
Seriously though....
I have an 05.5 2.0T Quattro Tip.
My long term trip computer (last rest about 4000 miles ago) shows an average fuel consumption of approx 27 mpg.
I drive 30 miles one way to work everyday, with the highway/city split being about 60/40.
I drive approx. 75-80 mph on the highway.
I estimate that the computer is about 2 mpg optomistic, so make that a real average of a little over 25 mpg.
I'm very, very satisfied.
My milage has decreased some in the last month due to alot of driving in snow.
I have 7800 miles on my car.

2.0 T, Manual, 75% Rural City, 25% Highway
Odometer Miles 369 to 734 yielded 25 MPG. A little disappointing since I was driving ULTRA conservatively (grandmothers were flashing their lights at me). Even though 75% was city, I thought I would do better. I live in a rural area with not a lot of stop and go action. I found the miles to empty gauge to be inconsistent even though my driving was very consistent. Seems like once I got past the half tank mark the mileage to empty plummeted a lot more quickly than the first half of the tank.

Mileage
2006 A4 2.0TQ Tiptronic
Per an Excel spreadsheet I keep that has included all gas purchased since new: overall 22.8 mpg, best tankful (part of trip NYC to Montreal 26.7 mpg). Spreadsheet relects total of 2,583 miles on the car. Excluding the one trip to Montreal, I do basicaly 40% from Westchester into and about Manhattan and the balance suburban mixed highway/local streets. Use Mobil or Hess 93 octane.

Ditto on the miles to empty and the non-linear fuel gauge - mine is screwy (unlike the last 5 or 6 cars I've had with the same feature that were always pretty much steady re: miles to empty and gauges accurate). I posted on this before and most responses said I was not looking at the issue right or I was too picky. About 1300 miles later I still find the miles to empty and the fuel gauge useless. This past weekend I filled up with the needle barely below halfway (actually part of needle still on the 1/2 mark, half of needle below it), but the tank took 11.9 gallons - way off!
