To see your realtime gas mileage will you need to order the technology package on the 06 A4?

It's been a standard feature for a number of years, so I'd think not.

If you are in the US,i guess its a standard package, but in EU, it comes with the NAV package(so my dealer said).

I too asked this question sometime back in the same forum, and guys had asked me to "go read the manual". And the manual doesnt mention it as a non-standard functionality(kinda confusing). So if you are not in US, in my opinion,its not a standard feature at all.

Yes, just got my '06, w/o tech. package and the display does not scroll, shows only miles til refill. Confirmed by the dealer who just discovered this on another vehicle...good job communicating, Audi USA!

The manual that comes with the car is out of date on this point.

...adjusting itself while on reverse gear? I read this in the manual, but nothing seems to change when i put the rearview mirror **** positioned at the passenger seat side before putting on reverse gear?(This is also mentioned in the so-called user manual)

The way they are packaging the options for 06 is a crime. Even the salepeople I have spoken to are not happy about it.
