Siezed 2.0T FSI, what blocks will swap?
Well my mom owns a 2005 A4 2.0T FSI. After ignoring the flashing low oil pressure display  The engine siezed up on her. I'm getting ready to swap a new motor in, but unfortunately I don't know enough about the 2.0T to determine a suitable replacement, as far as engine codes and differences go.
The engine code in hers is BPG.
There are a few BPY code engines for sale and I would like to know if they would be a direct swap into her car.

Seized
What is the mileage?
you may want to contact Audi on this, as longest you have all your service records straight they may do something for you as they been having issues with the 2.0 engines.
the camshaft/fuel pump thing now has an extended warranty to 120k miles or like 8-10 years.
other than that I see very risky to get a used engine as they having a lot of lubrication/oil consumption issues.

Thanks for the reply.
Mileage is about 110k.
I highly doubt Audi will do anything for us. It's JUST out of warranty, and our dealer has given us warranty trouble over the known headlight dipped issue, never mind replacing a seized engine that wasn't maintained by them, but by a local shop, who always had an excuse on why they couldn't find an oil filter...
The whole reason it's seized is because she's the person that ignores the check engine light until I notice it and get it scanned. This time it happened to be an oil pressure warning...
I'm all set to rip the engine out, I just need one to put back in!
