steering wheel swap (to TTRS 8P flat bottom)
Hi all! I am a B7 dtm owner in Hong Kong.
Recently, I've been trying to upgrade the steering of my B7 DTM to an A
udi TTRS 8P flat bottom steering wheel.
(As seen from the first picture , dtm steering on the left and TTRS on the right).
I was told that it was a plug and play with the wiring harness of the dtm steering given that the airbags were dual-plugged.
However, when i removed both steering and airbags, I notice that although the airbag plugs fit, there are difference to the connection. (I.e. there are only 2 connectors to the Dtm airbag while the TTRs one has 3, as circled. Does anyone have a clue on what a should do to make sure the connections are right?
I have looked around the web, despite having pages telling how to install i dont seem to find any pages or threads talking about the wiring.
Would be nice if someone could guide ot lead me in the right direction.
Much appreciated.
