sudden clutch loss
Hi Guys...new too the forum and my first post i`m hoping you guys can help me with.
i`ve had a suddun loss of the clutch on a 2005 b7 1.9tdi avant.the clutch pedal just went to the floor and stayed there.having had a read around many audi forums i decided to replace the clutch master cylinder first.done that but still nothing so replaced the slave cylinder too.
i have bled it many many times and the clutch feels to be working and it sounds like the slave is working also as i can hear it "creaking" ?.but still the gears won`t engage with the pedal down !
if i depress the clutch and try and pushthe gears into first the car starts to move slowly forward !.i`m totally stuck at this point and am wondering if maybe the arm that the slave pushes is either bent or broken ?
would seem a bit strange as when i put the new slave cylinder in the hole i had to push quite hard against something to push the spring back in the slave.
any advise would be fantastic guys.
