Throttle Travel – Neck Snap
This is wild question, but…
Background: Just purchased used 08 A4 2.0T. Converting from a stage II 01 S4 which is rather painful. Don’t quite understand Audi’s rationale for discontinuing best engine ever built but… must move on. I live in Colorado so need turbo (altitude) and AWD (snow).
Bought A4 used and immediately chipped it. Car is like driving an electric golf cart, it just about snaps your neck off off the line then runs out of gas at 5000 rpm. What makes this really annoying is the throttle is either on or off. There is almost no throttle travel from idle to full throttle. I use maybe a third of the gas paddle travel. Is this common? Is there a way to adjust the throttle Travel?
Thanks
