Default Timing Belt Replacement
I have a 2006 B7 ( S Line, 6 spd ) with 72K on it. What is the recommended timing belt replacement for the 2.0T?

110K miles (175,000 km) is the factory recommendation; I'd suggest a little earlier like 130-140,000 km.

The belt manufacturers are quoting 6 years or the mileage limitation, whichever comes first.

Mine is also coming up on replacement. I see that update is for the 2007 model 2.0T. Would that apply to the 2006 as well?
