Tint Colors

Also agreed... I just did mine 2 days ago with 35% all around.....
On my A4 and it came out looking really good. The 35% looks more like a 40-50% "light" tint in the shade/dark and looks like a 20% "medium" dark tint when under direct sunlight and at a distance. IMO, the tint used came out better looking than I expected. I'll take some pics this weekend after I wash my car (damn So Cal thunderstorms <img src="http://images.honda-tech.com/set1/smile/emsmilep.gif">)

I don't think you'll be happy doing only 50% all around...
i decided to stay legal and got 50% in the front and the rest 35%. i would rather have gotten 35% all around in hindsight, but i'm still satisfied.

Come to think of it, you're right. 50% is too light.
Revision - I would not be happy with anything lighter then 35%.
My previous car had 20% all around and I drove it for 3 years without any problems.
It matters where you live. In many places where such laws exist the police don't really pay any attention to it.

the cops here are really ****
when it comes to tints. if you're caught, they'll give u tickets and u have to remove them within a week and bring your car back to the inspection centre.
i'm in vancouver, bc. many people i know have been pulled over numerous times.
what do you guys think of silver tints though? personally i like the mirror effect and different from black, which imo would make the black car too dark. i'm not sure how exactly it looks on an A4 though coz i haven't seen one myself... esp with beige interior.
