Worth getting the '08?
My lease on my current car (Toyota Rav4 -- don't laugh) is up in March of '08. I was about to put in my order for an '08 A4 2.0T, but then started hearing rumors that the A4 is being fully redesigned for '09.
Is it worth waiting for? I do like the look of the current version, especially that the '08 2.0T is rumored to come with s-line trim w/o the need to order the s-line package.
Thoughts appreciated.

no rumor...all 08's get the body pieces (wheels and interior are still part of the pkg)
if you like the car, get the car...remember, most cars have issues the first year out...as nice as the B8 may be, i like the idea that i'd be waiting a couple years for them to get the bugs out

2nd that, ... but still caught btwn rocks
I just sold my car 2 weeks ago and now I want the a4.
Initially I wanted the new redesigned a4 but can't wait that long and besides when it comes out, I am guessing it's gonna be selling well over MSRP....
So realistically
I want the 08 a4 auto Quattro 2.0 sticker 34K
Or I could get the 07, some dealers round my area still have new 07 and I can get a really good deal of that.
I `ll see when on 08 drops, one dealer says 7/27
Still thinking...

Re: 2nd...i would be suprised if they even go for MSRP....they may not discount the cars much.....
I placed an order for an "08 A4 Quattro last Tuesday. 6 speed,
S-Line Interior / Exterior, Bose speakers, Ipod adapter, and sports suspension, and convenience package. Grand total...$35,315. As you can see, they will come off of the $37,600 MSRP for an '08

What's the deal on memory
seats in the 2.0T Are they still sticking it to those people who want it in the more economical, and better selling 2.0T line?
WTF is with AOA on this issue?

Agreed. Traditionally the redesign first year models sell
at sticker right in the beginning, then slowly taper off to the typical "off sticker" pricing. The B6 took a few months for this, then by the second model year (2003), you could get a very good deal. Personally, I try to always purchase/lease the second year in. Bugs are worked out and supply and demand issues no longer force high pricing.
