I got a postcard from Audi in February and it said they would pay me $100 to test my 2011 A4. I called the phone # and the person from Audi in Los Angeles and he told me that the EPA requires manufactures to test a certain # of cars from each model year and report the emissions,and it would take about 30 minutes. I told him I was interested, and he requested the check in my name, and scheduled the appointment at my house. He came todayand plugged in his laptop and downloaded data (even told me my car had been started over 1,200 times since I got it in July). This took twenty minutes and I got my check (the check was from VW).
