the car is fantastic to start with, but the upgrade potential is huge, starting with ECU in the spring with an eye towards the APR S3/K04 + APR Turbo-back Exhaust eventually. I like the 8-speed tranny fine from having it in the Q5, but I know the 6-speed is bullet-proof for future power upgrades.

hehe. yours is a beautiful color. had the wife not preferred the Q5 ride height (still), I'm sure she'd be driving the 2011 copy of yours they had on the lot.

I like the color. Unfortunately, so will every looney-tune you meet on the road -- especially the fools driving white pick-ups trying to look like they're actually employed in the construction business. In the years I drove a red Cabriolet, I probably had hundreds of them try to race me. If you build your car, try to build it strong enough to go supersonic to comprehensively get away from those morons.

I tried to get the gf into an Avant before I bought mine.
She preferred the Q5 also.

How did you get a 6-speed Tip? Isn't an 8-speed Tip the only tranny available?

The Audi website configurator showed an 8-speed for 2010 unlessthey put the 2011 specs in there early. Weird.
