'15 A4 price negotiations w/wo Supplier Program...?
Was wondering what kind of deals others have had lately on the 2015 A4 with/without the supplier program. With the A4 nearing the end of its life and the A3 being the new and cheaper model, what impact has that had on the movement of A4s and pricing.
I also have access to supplier pricing (6% off MSRP). Talked to a salesman this weekend out of state who I bought a car from years ago and when I mentioned the supplier program he said that'd be bottom dollar (less any AoA incentives like loyalty). Any others have success recently getting the price lower? My understanding is Supplier program gives the dealer 2% back and most cars the invoice is ~7% under MSRP thus giving ~3% margin on the specific sale.
Lastly how does ordering a car from the factory impact negotiations? Have always bought off the lot previously but manual transmissions are few and far between currently and not with color/options I'm looking at.
Thanks,
Chaz

My supplier program is also 6%. So is Quattro Club NA member discount in good standing. I think you can sometimes get Costco deals at 7%. I have not done this, but heard of it.
Under my supplier agreement, dealers can require you to order instead of taking from stock. Typically if not using a supplier agreement you can get a better deal on an order, as the dealer won't have any financing charges to cover. This theory obviously changes if it's the end of model year or a leftover.
