2009 A4 3.2L Cabin Filter Change
#11
My wife just dropped her A3 off yesterday for an oil change and mentioned a musty odor when using the a/c. She called me at work to tell me that they want $400 bucks to do this. This is her car and I have no real knowledge of Audis. The tech said there were leaves caught in the cowling? Is that even possible? And that mildew had started to form. Me thinks this is just some tech guys trying to get one over on a woman. I think that its nbothing more than what you all said and the filter just needs to be replaced. Any thoughts by anyone? (Big thanks to PrimeTime for this post and his pictures)

Having a hard time getting the filter back in
I just changed the filter on both my '14 Q5 and '14 S5. Easy enough to remove, but had to stuff the darn thing back in. Seems wrong ... is there a trick I'm missing?
Thanks!

Buy your filter online
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Mann is the supplier of Audi cabin filters ... and oil filters as well.

I changed one once and it seems to bend as you slide it in. If you still have the original, you can always try to put it back in to see if it fits properly.
Good luck !
