2010 2.0T steering issues
I have a 2010 B8 A4 2.0T. I got my car back from my mechanic after doing the oil consumption (audi wouldn’t cover it because I had over 80k on it which is bs but it had to be done) and the steering was really hard to turn the wheel. I turned around and brought it right back and the mechanic said he didn’t do anything that would have to do with it. He thinks the central control module is bad because he tested the selonoid and it’s fine and says that’s the only other thing he can think of. I read on here it could be the shaft but it doesn’t get stiff while I’m driving. It’s either stiff from the get go or so loose it’s like a f1 racecar. No rhyme or reason to it it’s ether too loose or too tight. I noticed when parking the car the steering almost locks up completely. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance! Searched all over the internet and can’t find anyone else that’s had this issue.
