2010 A4
Hey everyone. I have a 2010 A4 and the engine is shot. 0 compression. I understand that many of the used engines from similar models have had timing chain issues. I’m wondering if there is a possibility of an engine swap that is reasonable?

2010 A4 so old CAEB motor. So swap it with a CAED (manual tranny) or CPMB (auto tranny) from 2014-2016. 2013 used newer CAEB (manual) and CPMA (auto), so it works too. The engines are pretty much the same from the A4, A5, Q5, all the same B8 platform. People seem to be often getting motors from "LKQ"(?) online.
