2010 A4 with 3G MMI / No A2DP (stereo bluetooth)
Just wondering what my options were for getting stereo bluetooth (A2DP) working on my new A4 with 3G MMI.
The bluetooth functions work perfectly for the phone, and everything works well when my iPhone 3G is in the glovebox and plugged in.
I just like stream pandora, and some other content and A2DP works wonderfully for that. Also, really prefer not to plug iPhone in every time I get in the car.
I understand that the Bluetooth kit from Audi doesn't work with 3G MMI systems, and have heard some rumors of an MMI update coming that will enable the A2DP profile.
Does anyone know what other options I may have ?

Hello I'm a new member. Getting an 2010 Audi A4 very soon and have this same question. Did you ever figure this out? I'd like to play the music on my iPhone through the Audi's speakers via A2DP Bluetooth. Thanks

The "other" xcarlink is available at the link below, and modifies your existing screen so you can play video from a DVD player and other sources including a back-up camera. I got one for Christmas but didn't end up installing it and the seller (in England) was going to deduct a huge "restocking fee." If you are interested in buying the xcarlink and camera, please send me a PM for details.

After looking into this for a little bit I found this:
http://www.amazon.com/Insignia-NS-BT.../dp/B00194EG5G
It plugs into the dock connector and connects to the iphone via bluetooth. It seems to mostly do what I want, though a real Audi solution would be preferred. The only problem now is that i can't find any in stock anywhere. Does anyone know of something similar to this, or have any experience with using this kind of an adapter?

Can I stream Pandora?
I'm also wondering if I can stream Pandora from my Verizon LG phone through my MMI. I already have my old iPod hooked up in the glovebox. The guy at the Verizon store seemed to think that if my phone worked through the bluetooth that the Pandora on my phone ought to be able to - but gave me no further advice on how to make this happen.
I'm driving a 2010 A4 Avant.
Any ideas?
