I have been getting a “rusty door hinge” noise when it is cold and/or going over speed bumps. I have had 4 different mechanics look at it, and all agreed on upper control arms- so I replaced those. Still hearing the noise and problem was not fixed!!! They have told me to either replace the lower control arms or the struts... The sound does not appear when I push on the hood and rock the car up and down, only while driving. Every other aspect of the suspension is just fine- smooth ride, no vibrations or problems, just the nasty noise. Any help???
