Default 2013 A4 B8.5 Tune? (APR vs. Unitronic vs. GIAC)

Hello all. New here. I picked up a 2013 A4 B8.5 about a year ago with 30k miles (now 40k) and I'd like a little more oomph without having to to any heavy modifications to the car or breaking the bank. I'm completely new to tuning so don't really know what I'm doing but from doing a bit of reading it seems APR, GIAC, and Unitronic are the biggest simple ECU flashes. Leaning toward APR since it seems most popular but wanted to get some input before I jumped the gun.

If I get a tune its gonna be through APR, just one of the best ones out and most support backed product available.
Going stage one should bring you a nice boost in throttle response and curves meaning you have more power throughout accelerating. The 2.0T is a great engine to tune, but the transmission is somethignt o worry about Not sure what you have, but know ther is more to worry about other than the engine when stating to tune even on stage 1.

I have a 2013 Audi Q5 2.0T with an APR stage 2 tune and an APR intercooler. I started with the APR stage 1 tune and then upgraded. The stage 1 tune is good, gives you a little more oomph and fun in sprt mode. But i have to say after having the stage 2 tune for a little over 6 months i would never turn back. In sport mode you almost forget I'm driving an SUV.

Thanks for the input. I haven't heard much in regards to transmission issues with the B8 A4's. I thought those problems were mostly with B7's... could you elaborate/link?
