2018 Navigation Only 2 destinations per trip
When entering destinations for a single trip, there seems to be a maximum of one destination and one stopover. Two entries seem to be a severe limit. Does anyone know if you can enter more destinations for a single trip?

You will get more relevant responses in the B9 section. (In my 2014 I'm pretty sure I have used more than one, but I see that the text in the B9 owner's manual only mention "an additional" whereas the B8 manual says up to 9 stopovers.)

Somebody in the B9 forum may have a better answer who uses stopovers more, but I haven't noticed a limit, but then I'm also not sure if I've ever tried more than one stopover. It's very different in the new MMI, though. In the old one you could plan a route in the route list before starting navigation, whereas in the new system you enter the final destination, start routing and then enter a new destination at which point it asks if you wanna add it as a stopover. I've definitely used Google search while on the go to add unplanned stopovers while on the way to a final destination, but I may just have done them one at a time. I don't recall exactly. I have used the route with multiple stopovers in my 2013 RS5, though, so I know it works there. But since most of the time I send my destinations to the car from my phone anyway I just pick the next one and start routing, so the stopover feature lately I've only really used for an unplanned stop before my next planned stop.

I've noticed this too, and it's annoying. It's actually the one thing that I liked better about the 11-year old nav system in my Lexus IS350 - it had unlimited destinations that you could easily delete, reorder, etc. Google Maps supports this now, and I just used it the last time I had a need for a more complex route. I think that even Apple Maps had the same one-stopover restriction.
This doesn't normally come up, but when I first got my car and was looking for fun places to drive, I wanted to be super-precise about which roads to take rather than just finding the quickest route. The nav system would always push me to highways and re-route periodically, which definitely was not my goal. 99% of the time it's fine, though.

Thanks for the kind replies. I worked hard trying on the 2018 A4 and Q7, but no luck so far. My BMW 530i has something like 7 destinations for one trip. I'll choose "'Previous Destinations" during the Audi trip. audi8k, I tried the Q7 forum as you suggested.
