Just signed a contract for an A4 2.0T manual.
Did a search on here and see how some are experiencing excessive oil consumption with their 2013 and earlier 2.0T engine.
Anyone have information re the 2014/15 oil usage? Thanks.

13's shouldn't have a problem.

my 14 drinks about 1/4 quart per 10k miles.

Dave, it's somewhat hit or miss whether the engine consumes oil.

FWIW, my '11 A4 consumes notable amounts of oil. We got a '15 Q5 4 cyl at the end of June. It's just over 3,000 miles now and the oil level, as indicated by the MMI, has not moved.

I work as a part-time driver at a local Audi dealership and the advisors say that they have not seen oil consumption issues with 2013 and up 2.0T's.

Thanks for the responses.
Spoke with the service manager today and he advised that it won't be an issue with the new machine. He said worse case during break in would be a half liter of oil in 5000 miles. He also said that this hasn't been a problem since the 2013 engine intro.
Nothing to do with the Audi but way back in the last century my old Jag went through at least an imperial quart of straight 50W in 300 miles! In the manual it stated one gallon every 1200 miles. Thought it was a typo...
