A4 engine note on sports pkg vs basic
Sorry if this thread has been discussed before. I brought my 2011 A4 (sports package/standard) in for it's 15,000 mile service and was given a A4 auto non sports package loaner. In my opinion the 6 speed always wins but that is a matter of opinion. the auto seems to want to step down for gas milage even in sport mode. While I expected the handling to be different, I was surprised by the engine response and note. Does Audi baffle in exhaust sound like the GTI for the sports package models? the basic model engine sounded more diesel like. Opinions?
