I have a 2014 A4 (B8.5). It didn't come stock with front parking sensors so I installed them using Kufatec wiring harnesses and Audi/vw parking sensors and the Module 10 in the trunk. Ever since the install (over two years now) I've been having an intermittent issue. The front center sensors will randomly go from sensing nothing in front of them to saying something is immediately in front of the car. I have optical sensors enabled so there is a visual and audio warning showing the front two sensors. When hooked up to VCDS the front two sensors will go from showing the default 255cm distance to about 21cm simultaneously. The oscillation times for the front two sensors are .99 seconds. The other sensors on the car are about 1.01 for the front sides and 1.15 for all the rear sensors. These values are within the standard of 0.8 to 1.5 on an Audi TSB (91 14 72 2024323/4) dated Dec 2014. I've swapped out the front sensors with no luck. I've changed the front bumper harness and the harness that goes from the front bumper harness to the module 10 in the trunk. I've also swapped out the module 10. The only harness I haven't swapped out is the one from the module 10 to the can bus but technically that doesn't make sense for the fault I'm getting. The car has never logged a fault code for this issue. I'm ready to change the last harness but want to check and see if someone with some technical experience has any further suggestions for troubleshooting. Maybe something I'm missing.
