Aftermarket Electronics
 

I picked up my new 2013 A4 a month ago, and I'm looking to add some aftermarket electronics to it. Specifically a dash cam and a remote start. The dash cam, of course will be much easier than a remote start, since Audi Key will be a bear I'm sure.

Does anyone have any experience with fiddling with either of these, or have any suggestions for a good customization shop in Dallas that works on Audis?

I have looked briefly into a backup camera for my 2010 A4. I noticed that a local Autozone had a nice set for about $90. Had a small, 110 degree camera with a pretty small screen so its not to hard to find a place for it. I have yet to get it and install it though as I have been priotized with getting LED strip Fog lights.

Join the North Texas Audi Group, or at least check out their webpage. Some of their main members/contributers have a european specialty shop near Love Field. I can't think of the name now but everyone recommended them and I was going to get some work done by them while I lived in Dallas- but then I moved to San Antonio. Sorry for the non-specifics but it'll give you somewhere to start.
