Default Are all A4's now made in Mexico!?

I just read in another forum that the A4 is manufactured for NA in Monterrey,Mexico..will the next one be Chinese because AG can do it even cheaper??
If so..can buyers insist on a true *German made A4 or S4 with the proverbial wait time, maybe the powers that be at AG will get the picture why we buy an Audi!

All that's important is the parts and the engineering. I care less about the actual place and the people that assemble it.

My car is on a boat to the east coast, so I don't think it was assembled in Mex.

The NA Jetta, not the A4, is manufactured in Mexico. Did you happen to acquire this knowledge on a BMW forum?

Default nafta

I didn't post this to hurt feelings but if it's true, I think AG is decieving purchasers who don't ask so don't tell!

Wikipedia reference:

If it's true,I'd seriously doubt AG would they ship to NA from Ingolstadt if they are being assembled in Monterrey Mexico..believe me, I was surprised also. The VIN translates exactly where and when it was assembled.
